HEKTOR, LANZAROTE
For a month, I explored the impressive island, hiking from my base at Hektor in Los Valles. In the tiny 'taller' I transformed my impressions into several series, named after places I explored. Once back home in the studio, the process continued and several more series emerged.
I am now showing a selection of these series in a solo exhibition with Settantotto, for which we are moving to the former Jan Colle gallery in Ghent.

KUNSTBIËNNALE PRINSENHOF - OUR DARKNESS
'Our Darkness', the iconic 1984 song by English poet, singer and songwriter Anne Clark, forms the central theme of this edition. The song explores the complex dynamics of human relationships and paints a story full of contrasts: passion and distance, hope and despair, light and darkness. Our darkness. Despite themes such as alienation, isolation and the loss of ideals, the song radiates an indestructible vitality. It is an ode to inspiration, resilience and the undeniable will to continue to grow.
51 artists engage in dialogue with this special duality. They do so at 23 unique locations in the Prinsenhof, in the heart of Ghent – in private homes, public places and buildings that you would otherwise rarely or never visit.

THE ART OF MISSING YOU
In honour of Missing You's 25th anniversary, a unique art experience route is being organised in the heart of the Groot Begijnhof in Ghent. 25 years of Missing You – 25 artists – 1 experience route.
The Art of Missing You, in collaboration with Ardieu, brings together 25 artists around the themes of mourning, loss and connection — an exhibition full of visual art and words. The artworks will be up for auction to raise money for the Missing You charity.
