My work is rooted in a deep understanding. A dialogue from the undercurrent of life. It is a never-ending game with the children in me. It is uncovering the ever-moving force that we call “death” but which is essentially the unconditional source of what we name “life".

This ‘Souls’ series is an evocation of the perfect life of Coco and Mingus, as at their birth, life and death became each other’s equals. Translated to the universal, these ‘Souls’ - in all their lightness - never really stand still. For death always wants to live. The quality of that life then always depends on your ability for lightness.
